Andhra Bank is one of the most familiar Govt. undertaking public sector bank in India with its headquarters in Hyderabad, Andhra Bank. It has a wide network of more than 2,500 branches spread in almost all states and union territories of India. It has a large chain of more than 220 ATMs. It was founded in Nov. 1923 and it is the first bank in India to introduce the concept of Credit Cards in the year 1981. Under Retail sector, it has services from deposits, Debit/ Credit cards, insurance policies, mutual fund schemes, etc. It also provides support to small micro enterprises and medium enterprises under the MSME sector. Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) schemes are there to provide financial support in terms of small loans to the micro businesses and entrepreneurs. Andhra Bank has its internet banking facility for its millions of customers.

They also provide separate railway booking facility with collaboration to IRCTC and own a separate gateway for that. Andhra Bank is having a recruitment drive this year also called Andhra Bank Probationary Officer Recruitment 2015 which is looking for young, energetic, mobile and qualified officers to fill up about 200 posts. This recruitment drive is done under Junior Management Grade/ Scale 1. This year a tie up is done with Manipal University, Bangalore which will provide a one year course-  Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF). After successful completion of the one year PGDBF course, Candidates will be appointed as Probationary Officers in various branches and offices of the bank. Vacancy details:

Total number of posts- 200 (Unreserved categiry: 101 posts, Scheduled Castes: 30, Scheduled Tribes: 15 and Other Backward Classes: 54). Persons With Disability (PWD) category will have 3% seats reserved.

Important Dates:

Starting date of Online Registration –  17/11/2015.

Last date of Online Registration        –  01/12/2015.

Download Admit Card                         –  10/12/2015.

Examination Date                                 –  27/12/2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must have attained the age of 20 years as on 01-09-2015 and not exceeding 28 years. SC/ST/OBC candidates can have age relaxations as per Govt. norms. Candidates must have Degree or Graduation or equivalent from any recognized university as on 01-09-2015.

Payment of Application Fees:

The application fee is Rs. 600 for the candidates belonging to General (UR) and OBC categories. The application fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs. 100, Payment of fees can only be done through online payment.

  • Admit Card print out is mandatory to get entry in the exam hall. To download the admit card, candidates have to visit the official website of Andhra Bank- www.andhrabank.in

  • Enter the Registration No. which was provided at the time of registration
  • Enter either your Date of Birth or Password entered at the time of registration
  • Click SUBMIT. This will download the admit card. A print out shall be taken of that downloaded admit card for  Andhra Bank PO Recruitment Exam 2015
