MPPSC Forest Ranger/ Conservator Admit Card 2015 Download

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has started a recruitment drive this year in 2015 for the posts of Forest Ranger/ Conservator. There is a vacancy of 100 posts in the Forest Dept. of Maharashtra for Forest Rangers and 23 posts of Assistant Forest Conservators, which are to be filled by eligible candidates. MPPSC is the recruitment body for state govt. jobs in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh got this separate Service commission to make recruitments in 1956. Before that it was being handled by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The main motto MPPSC is to provide efficient employees in various departments of the state and make timely recruitments according to the vacancies. These recruitments are to be kept clean and the most deserving candidates are to be taken.

Now the main role of a Forest Ranger or a Forest conserver is to act efficiently to conserve the forests, its wild life and protect them from all dangers. It is a Gazette Rank and has a uniform dress code. The selected candidates will have to go through an in-service training in the State Forest Training Academy. After completion of training, the officers will be posted in a forest range and will supervise the section officers, watchers and guards.

Exam Pattern:

There will be two groups in the written exam having Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type- Optional Subject and Compulsory Subjects. The exam will be of 2 hours each for both groups. One Compulsory paper and two optional papers will be there, the subjects can be decided by the candidate during filling up of application. The pass percentage for unreserved category candidates is 40% and for the SC / ST / OBC candidates is 30 % as per govt. norms.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must attain the age of 21 years and the upper age limit is 28 years. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category shall have upper age relaxation as per Govt. rules.

There will be some specified height requirements for candidates which can be viewed from the website of MPPSC: www.mppsc.nic.in.

Candidates appearing are required to have a Degree or equivalent from any recognized university in Forestry or Agriculture or Science and Engineering. A compulsory subject must be there in the Bachelor’s Degree course from Physics, Botany, Zoology, Horticulture, Chemistry.

Application Fees:

For candidates belonging to unreserved category: Rs. 2,000

For candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ OBC category: Rs. 1,000

Admit Card Download:

Candidates are required to carry a valid admit card to get admission to the exam hall. The admit cards can be downloaded online from the MPPSC website. The link to download the admit card is: https://mppsc.cbexams.com/ACF_Admit_Card/.

Put the ‘Application Number’ first. Select your Gender (Male/ Female). Enter the Date of Birth mentioned in at the time of application. Enter the alpha numeric string appearing on the screen in the last box. Then click PROCEED to download and print the Admit Card.
