The Inspectorate General of Registration and Stamps is planning to launch the much waited e-registration for digital locker system after the 3 months delay to Indian citizens. This system will start functioning from August, 2016 and by using it any individual can be able to save their important documents like property related or any other official works and also by using this digital locker people can able to save any receipts or personal files in the soft format. In fact, it is the most useful system that can reduce the usage of the paper and some other necessary complex process. Actually, this programme was getting delayed for the last three months. This is because that the higher officials of the IGR are in the discussion with the National Informatics Center for getting the approval for this digital locker system. Now, the official form the IGR department has said that the entire issues of this project have been completed and the National Informatics Center has ready with this system by the coming month.
However, this digital locker system can be easily operated, if the person has the Aadhaar card. As this Aadhaar card system is implemented in all the states of India, the department is ready to introduce this system soon.
