MAHA TET Admit Card 2015 Released. Download Your Hall Ticket @

Admit cards are available for download for the MAHA TET 2016 exam. Like every year, this year also the Teacher’s Eligibility Test (TET) is being conducted to recruit teachers for the vacant teaching posts of primary and upper primary level in the primary, secondary and higher secondary schools of Maharashtra. The examination is being administered under the Maharashtra State Council of Examination. The MAHA TET is a recruitment exam, which is being held twice a year. Each candidate scoring a minimum cutoff will get a TET score. This TET score will be valid for a period of seven years. A candidate can give MAHA TET as many times as he can till he reaches the upper age limit, thus he can improve his TET score. Reservations for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates is there as per Govt. rules.

MAHA TET 2015 examination pattern:

MAHA TET 2015 will have two compulsory papers- Paper I and Paper II.

Paper I will be for teaching in classes from I to V i.e. Primary classes. It will consist of 150 questions, each carrying one mark. Subjects covered in Paper I are Child Psychology and Teaching Methodology (30 marks), Language 1 (30 marks), Language 2 (30 marks), Mathematics (30 marks) and Environment Science (30 mark). Paper II will be for teaching in Classes from VI to VIII i.e. Upper Primary classes. It will also consist of 150 marks, each carrying one mark. Subjects in Paper II are Child Psychology and Teaching Methodology (30 marks), Language 1 (30 marks), Language 2 (30 marks), Mathematics (60 marks) or Social Studies (60 marks). Those candidates who want to teach in both categories must appear in both papers. Time duration of each paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates must secure the minimum cutoff marks to pass the examination. However, candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC / PWD categories will enjoy lesser cutoff marks compared to the unreserved category. The cutoff percentage for General candidates is 60 % and that of SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra is 55 %.

Starting date of Admit card download    –              14-12-2016

Exam Date                                                          –              27-12-2016

Paper I – 10:30 hours to 13:00 hours

Paper II – 14:00 hours to  16:30 hours.

Admit Card details and procedure of download:

Admit card is a necessary document to be eligible for appearing in the MAHA TET 2015. Candidates without a valid admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstances. The starting date of downloading of Admit card is 27th December, 2015. Candidates must take a print out of the downloaded admit card before appearing the MAHA TET 2015. Steps to download admit card:

  • Visit the page-
  • Fill the Form number obtained at the time of application.
  • Then provide your mobile number or Date of Birth in the appropriate box.
  • Click SUBMIT to download the admit card.
  • Take a print out of the admit card.
